Classic Beauty is the Ferrari 250.

As we become more mature most of us tend to appreciate and respect classic beauty. The Ferrari 250 is one of the best examples of classic beauty. In our humble opinion the classic Ferrari 250 in its many iterations looks better than any modern Ferrari of today. In order to make a statement like that, the caveat is that one must be mature in thought, most of the youth will not understand.

From Rags To Riches: The Evolution of the Porsche 911

Well actually the 911 never really came from rags; it was always a highly tuned precision crafted vehicle with a nod towards continuous development throughout the years. Introduced at the Frankfurt Auto Show in 1963 the original 911 had a price tag of $5,900 and about 130 horsepower produced by its now famous flat-6 engine. After several decades of constant improvements you can now pick up a top of the line 911 GT2 RS for about $249,000, producing 620 horsepower, still from a flat-6 cylinder engine… my how times have changed. See the evolution of the 911.

Used Car Recommendation of the Week: The 1991 Nissan 300ZX!

I recall spending many a moments in class daydreaming about how all the unattainable girls in my high school will finally flock my way if I had the funds to purchase a 1991 Nissan 300ZX (Z32). Well, unlike some of those girls today, the 300ZX is still a looker and a modern classic. The Z32 300ZX was introduced for the 1990 model year, it was the best of the Japanese sports cars of the 1990s and quickly garnered awards and many accolades. The 300ZX had the performance and handling to match its sleek well put together sheet metal. This 2nd generation 300ZX (technically the 4th generation of the Z-Car line) was available in base 2-seater form with a 222hp V6, a 2+2 version with the same engine, and the 300hp twin turbo flagship model. It is getting harder to find true untouched original models without all the unnecessary modifications that most idiot teenagers will tend to add. This is a vehicle that is very much worth adding to your physical or theoretical collection

At Auction...

At auction Steve McQueen’s 1970 Porsche 911 S which was featured in his classic movie Le Mans sold for a record $1.375 million. This record auction price was only possible because the 911 is a Real Car! Oh, and McQueen being a former owner also helped a bit.

Use Car Recommendation of the Week: The 1992 Porsche 928 GTS

This is what would affectionately be called a true hidden gem. The mostly forgotten (except by real car enthusiasts) Porsche 928 GTS. The 928 came into being as a more comfortable, easier to drive alternative to the tricky handling 911s of the time (the late 70s). In its truest form it was a GT car and not a sports car like the 911, but a great GT car it was. Helped along by a big rumbling 5.4 liter 345 horsepower V8 of Porsche design, and unique innovations like its Weissach Axle, the 928 GTS was a powerful great handling car that should be added to your Real Car collection, so go ahead and write the check.
